Waking up my blog
I am not a natural blogger, but I am an obsessive writer. From now on I earnestly pledge to post more often. I've been thinking about what I want my blog to be, and I have decided that it should be a blog about writing - the writing process, joys and struggles. To this end I will be asking other writers to do guest posts. If you are a writer (of anything, anywhere), and you would like to contribute a musing (could be amusing, too) about your writing, please let me know. Write me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
We all want to promote our work, so of course this can be part of what you write, but not only that. I'm hoping for stories, strategies, sorrows and successes that we can share. I look forward to hearing from you!
As my own first offering about writing, I am attaching a file containing a chapter I wrote for a book that is in press with Cambridge Scholars Publishing, a wonderful book called Fulfilled Lives, edited by my friend Nili Alon Amit. My chapter is on fulfilment through creativity. Hope it speaks to you!
And regarding promotion - please note that my first novel, Summer's Lie, is currently part of a Goodreads giveaway. The giveaway ends Thursday, February 11th. One hundred Kindle versions will be delivered to the winners.
See you soon!
